Entranceway to kitchen through utility area

The refrigerator works well but shows some small measles-like rust spots on its front, could use refinishing.

The rose picture is on a square of insulation that will cover the window when desired.  Most of the countertop still has an ugly layer of sticky plastic floor tiles that were laid down over the original countertop.  I have removed some of it but not all, and I would suggest refinishing the countertop with one of those pour-on terrazo-like products.
